Who we are

Nyx is an indie developer tool. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how you can control it.

What we collect

On the landing page:

• Anonymous analytics (Plausible): page views, country, referrer. No cookies, no fingerprinting.

When you buy:

• Your email address (to send you the license key).
• Payment data is handled by NOWPayments — we never see your crypto address or transaction details beyond “paid / not paid”.

When you activate Nyx:

• The app sends your license key and a hashed machine fingerprint to our license server to count activations (max 3 per license).
• No code, no prompts, no file contents, no usage data.

What we don’t collect

• Your code, your agent prompts, your terminal output — all of this stays on your machine.
• Your IP address is not stored with your license.
• We don’t track which features you use.

How long we keep your data

• License records: indefinitely (they’re your proof of purchase).
• Plausible analytics: aggregated only, no raw logs.
• Payment data: whatever NOWPayments keeps per their policy.

Your rights

You can:

• Request deletion of your license record (you’ll lose activation ability).
• Request a copy of the data we hold about you.
• Opt out of emails (you’ll only get license-related emails anyway).

We’ll update the “Last updated” date at the top when this policy changes. Material changes will be announced on the landing page.
